Covenant

General Information

Welcome to Lionheart Virtual Estate.

Before purchasing a property at Lionheart, we expect every customer to read, understand and abide by this covenant’s regulations. Please take yourself a few moments to read it carefully, and don’t hesitate to contact us if you have further questions. Please keep in mind, that not reading these regulations doesn’t exempt you from the obligation to abide by it’s regulations.

Lionheart Virtual Estate, hereinafter referred to as “Lionheart”, is a private land provider. Therefore, NO PREMIUM ACCOUNT IS NEEDED to own land with us. A free basic account is all you need.

Visitor Behavior

We are a peaceful and respectful community of residents of Second LifeTM. Every visitor of our simulators (in continuation called “Sim” or “Sims”) has to abide by the Terms of Service (http://lindenlab.com/tos) and Community Standards (http://secondlife.com/corporate/cs.php) of Second LifeTM. This also includes all currently valid policies published by Linden Lab (http://lindenlab.com/tos#tos12)

Lionheart wants to grant every visitor a pleasant experience. For this reason we require every visitor to abide by the following rules:

  • We are a civil community, so we don’t allow weapons in our public areas, neither worn nor attached. This includes also non-functional weapons.
  • No harassment.
  • No nudity on public Land. Minimum clothing bikini/swimwear. Landowners are required to put on clothes before leaving the confines of their privacy area into public.
  • No griefing, prim littering or running scripts causing heavy serverload.
  • Always be respectful to others. Lionheart is a diverse community of residents, and we embrace diversity of people, their lifestyles, beliefs, religions and races. We do not accept or tolerate individuals or groups disturbing (or having the potential to disturb) this peaceful diversity.
  • Shouting (and thus, disturbing the peace of your neighbors) is not allowed.
  • Do not enter any private property without the owner’s permission.
  • Landowners and visitors have to abide by the covenant and instructions given by members of our estate management team.
  • Lionheart will not interfere or make judgements in neighborship disputes. Residents are required to resolve such disputes in a mature and respectful way between themselves. If the dispute involves a covenant or TOS violation, you may file an abuse report at our website http://www.lionheartsl.com.

In case of breaching any of these rules, we reserve the right to ban you from our estate.

Sim and Property Rules - Residential I

Usage of Residential I Properties

Residential use only. Very light commercial usage only for selling merchandise can be permitted on a case-by-case basis, when anyone, specially the neighbors, can visually not make a difference of a normal residential setup and yours. No signage allowed.

Resource sharing policy

As every landowner shares a region’s technical resources with their neighbors on the same region, all landowners have to care for a responsible usage of these resources. We do not limit the number of scripts residents may use, but we ask them to use some common sense in their script usage. Laggy scripted objects doesn’t only affect you, they affect all of your neighbours of the region . As example for heavily resource eating items, but not limited to, are named Temp-on-rez devices (also known as zero-prim rezzers) or weather systems (causing heavy viewerside lag for neighbors), whose usage for this reason is prohibited. Lionheart reserves the right to ask you to remove excessively laggy objects. In case of extreme lag we also may return the laggy object to you without previous notice.

The same common sense applies to the traffic usage of a region. A resident may only use their share of visitors to a region which represents their share of land compared to their neighbors shares of the same region. It is not allowed to overuse the visitors capacity of a region, and thus make it unable for neighbors to enjoy their share of the region in the same way or even make it impossible for them to reach their land because the region is full. Temporary peak visitor usage is allowed (for example for events limited in time), but in every case, capacities have to remain for the other residents on the same region.

Pets, breedable animals and other physical AND solid scripted objects

Physical AND solid pets and/or other objects with these properties may not remain on a parcel when the owner is not present, as they cause heavy lag due to their scripting and their permanent physical collisions for the sim and thus, for your neighbours. These pets or objects will be returned without previous advice by the management if found without the owner being present in order to keep our sim’s performance satisfactory for every resident. Due to the nature of some of these pets or objects, we refuse any responsibility for damage caused by the return.

Any parcels (except those categorized as Commercial II) may not be used for the purpose of animal breeding or farming. On parcels categorized other than Commercial II we do allow the usage of breedable animals as pets, but limit their usage to 1-3 per parcel, always applying the above mentioned rules as well as the resource sharing policy.

Property Rules

  • Skyboxes
The zone from 2000m up to 4096m can be used for floating structures, like skyboxes, building platforms (sandboxes) and similar purposes. Please respect a privacy distance to your neighbour’s skyboxes of at least 150m. The building restrictions mentioned in the Global Regulations of this covenant do not apply, usage restrictions do apply as usual. Any floating Items below the minimum height of 2000m can and will be returned without previous notice by Lionheart Staff.
If a parcel is solely to be used to host a skybox or platform, some shrubbery, trees or grasses should be put onto the ground surface, in order to prevent a “unused” look of the parcel at ground level. The usage of Linden library plants is acceptable.
  • Hovering / Rotating Structures
Hovering and/or rotating structures of any kind, like for example signs, adboards, for sale signs or other items which are obviously immune against gravitation are strictly prohibited outside of buildings. You may use these items above 2000m.
  • Script chat noise, scanners and greeters and other self-initiative scripts
Shouting scripts at channel 0 are strictly prohibited. Talking scripts on channel 0 may be used, if the chat doesn’t affect the neighbour parcels. Only exception: Objects only chats on channel 0 on an avatar’s interaction (for example by clicking it). Scanners and greeters have to be restricted to the landowner’s parcel only, and may not affect avatars outside of this area under any circumstances.
  • Brightness and Glow Usage
Do not set your whole building to full bright or use excessively the glow feature. Decent use of this features may make a building look great, but excessive usage is an eyesore for other people, especially during nighttime.
  • Access Restriction settings (Ban Lines) – Security System Usage
The usage of options of the “About Land” menu’s “Access” Tab is restricted. The option “Public Access” has to be enabled at any time. Every other setting has to remain deactivated, as these options cause categorical bans for other residents, and the flashing banlines caused by this are publicly considered as eyesores. The only option we do allow to be used is the “Banned Residents” list, where you are able to ban individual persons.
Additionally, you are allowed to protect your property’s access by using a scripted security device, which is recommendable if you really want to restrict access to a group of selected people only. However, every security device needs to give a warning of at least 30 seconds, as well as remove intruders after the warning time by ejection only, and not put the ejected avatar on the property’s ban list. This is to allow traffic to safely pass your land, for example shipping or aviation vehicles. Removing intruders by teleporting home, orbiting or other methods are not allowed. The scan range of a scripted security device has to be restricted to the property of the landowner only, or they may be removed at anytime and without warning when found to be a nuisance for passers-by or neighbors.
  • Megaprim Usage
Megaprims are only allowed, if they don’t shade the Minimap exceeding the edge of your parcel and don’t degrade the sim performance. Some megaprims are known for affecting the sim performance negatively when used with other colliding objects or avatars, and for this reason, are not allowed to be used for these purposes. For esthetical reasons, we also do not allow the creation of buildings mainly composed of megaprims.
  • Parcel Boundaries
Don’t setup oversized walls to mark your parcel border. Maintain the open view for all neighbours. Walls and hedges may not exceed a height of 4m from the preset ground level. For privacy please use the zone above 2000m.
Prims may not overlap your parcel boundaries into protected land or your neighbours parcel. If we find objects exceeding a parcel’s boundary, we may return them to the owner on our discretion. Exceptions of this rule are the protected land between your parcel and public streets or pathways to create an access to your parcel and make it look connected to its surroundings, and trees, if they don’t affect a neighbour’s parcel.
If you find a prim from a neighbor encroaching your land, you may want to contact them and ask for removal. If that does not help, Lionheart has enabled the power to every landowner to right click encroaching objects and return them to their owner.
  • Protected Land
The purpose of protected land is to serve as public infrastructure as well as public recreation area. You may use for example your vehicles on the streets or boats on the lakes or the sea. Protected land is an integral component of a sim’s design and therefore not subject to be customized to fit a resident’s particular wishes.
  • Subletting / Visitors
Residential only Subletting is allowed on these parcels. The landowners are responsible to ensure that their tenants and / or visitors adhere to this covenant.
  • Camping, Bots and other traffic building tools
Lionheart does not allow the usage of bots, camping or other traffic building tools on these parcels.
  • Sandboxes, loose construction sites and loose structures
For esthetical reasons, to preserve the general image of the continent as well to prevent public eyesores as well as for your neighbors, we don’t allow the usage of any parcel on ground level as sandbox or permanent construction site. Please use the zone above 2000m for these purposes. Temporarily building (for example to create a new building for that particular property which will be located there later) is allowed, but have to be completed within a reasonable timeframe. For all Builds, regardless the zone, we demand the use of common sense and taste.
  • Terraforming and Landscaping
Lionheart is has a pre-designed landscape. You should look for a parcel which matches your requirements most. Lionheart allows terraforming and landscaping on parcels within limits. In every case, terraforming and landscaping must look realistic and be done in a professional way. Terraforming may not cause sharp edges, nor affect your neigbhbours parcel or the protected land. The main character of a parcel must not be changed and has to be preserved. Existing beaches, island shapes and waterways have to be preserved to grant free passage for boats and the look and feel of the sim. Parcels may not be levelled or otherwise flattened and / or  enlarged in relation to their original shape. Terraforming is only allowed to add decent spots and details, but not to create a whole new look for the parcel. Buildings must adapt to the parcel, not the other way round. In every case of question, the instructions of our staff are binding.
Terraforming is limited in this category to:
    Raising: up to 3m
    Lowering: up to 5m
  • Building Height
Buildings may not be higher than 35m. Exceptions can be made for Treehouses, when the height measured from the lowest platform to the highest rooftop within the tree is not higher than 35m. In every case, the Treehouse must leave enough open view near the ground level and additional residential houses on the ground will not be allowed.
  • Building Style and Theme Requirements
Buildings have to optically fit well into the theme of the parcel as well as of the region. This means for example, that we do not allow castles or urban buildings to be placed on beach or lake/riverside parcels, or Tiki huts onto a western styled or woodland parcel, and so on. Not required, but strongly encouraged, is the usage of appropriate shrubbery, trees and plants matching the style and theme and climate of the region.
  • Terrain Texturing acceptance
It is not allowed to cover the terrain with prims to achieve a different ground texture. Exceptions can be made for only a smaller area of the parcel being nicely integrated into the real terrain and landscaping, and when the covered area does not touch any beach areas.
  • No Advertising
No advertising for services or goods is permitted outside of buildings or structures. If you decide to sell your parcel later, you may drop a decent, non-rotating and non-hovering for sale sign on it.

Sim and Property Rules - Commercial I

Usage of Commercial I Properties

Light / Normal Commercial Use, such as for Mainstores, Galleries, Apartment Rentals, and similar purposes.

Not allowed: Clubs, Malls and other high traffic locations.

All Commercial Properties can also be used for Residential purposes, but residents doing so have to accept the business activity in this area.

  • Subletting / Visitors
Subletting is allowed within each category’s individual regulations. The landowners are responsible to ensure that their tenants and / or visitors adhere to this covenant.
  • Camping, Bots and other traffic building tools
Lionheart and its residents have to abide by the Terms of Service and particular policies given by Linden Lab. For this reason, since May 2009 its not longer allowed to operate camping devices or other traffic building tools which are designed to artificially game search results by generating higher traffic rates.
Since April 2009, Linden Lab doesn’t longer allow the bot usage as traffic building tool. Functional bots continue to be allowed. In accordance with these new regulations, the maximum bot usage per land holding group, the groups individual owners, or the individual landowner is limited to two functional bots per simulator. Bots, which obviously serve traffic building purposes only, will be removed. The bot owner is obligated, once in service by Linden Lab, to register their bots as such at Second Life’s homepage. Please note, that alt-hosting (no matter if bot-clients or normal viewers are used) will be treated the same way and the same rules apply to them.
Lionheart allows one bot per parcel smaller than 1024sqm. For parcels bigger than 1024sqm we allow one bot per 1024sqm.

  • Building Height
Buildings may not be higher than two times the length of a parcels shortest side.
  • Building Style Requirements
While we don’t setup any specified restrictions regarding the building style, we encourage our residents to choose or create buildings which fit into an urban area or integrate their buildings otherwise nicely into the existing neighborhood.

On Commercial II categorized parcels we limit the number of breedable animals by the regulations mentioned in the resource sharing policy, and require them to have movement and animation turned off permanently. If these animals don’t have these options available, they are not allowed at Lionheart.

Lionheart allows one bot per parcel smaller than 512sqm. For parcels bigger than 512sqm we allow one bot per 512sqm.
    Lowering: up to 15m
    Basements are acceptable
  • Building Height
Buildings may not be higher than two times the length of a parcels shortest side.
  • Building Style and Theme Requirements
For esthetical reasons, as well as to limit viewerside lag for neighbors, we do not allow open air clubs; a closed building structure is required for these usage cases.
While we don’t setup any specified restrictions regarding the building style or theme, we encourage our residents to choose or create buildings which fit into an urban area or integrate their buildings otherwise nicely into the existing neighborhood.

  • Advertising Limitations
No advertising for services or goods is permitted outside of buildings or structures facing towards neighboring parcels. Reasonably sized advertising signs facing public roads are permitted. If you decide to sell your parcel, you may drop a decent, non-rotating and non-hovering for sale sign on it.

All you need to know about your Contract with Lionheart

Purchase Prices

Purchase prices may vary depending on market average based on supply and demand.

Tier Pricing

  • 0.0071 US$ / prim / week
(Translates to ca. $ 1.64 per 1024 m² with 234 Prims on a standard simulator without prim bonus)

The tier prices are fixed in USD. For easier in-world handling and enabling Linden Dollar payments, these prices are also converted into Linden Dollar (L$) on our website and in-world, based on the daily LindeX exchange rate.

Contract Definition

Every customer – estate relationship is regulated by an individual contract, identifyable by using a unique contract number within our systems. The individual conditions of each contract are stored in our database upon purchasing of a property or changing it’s ownership. Each ownership change of a property constitutes a new contract with Lionheart. This also includes deeding land to a group or transferring it to an individual owner. The conditions of each contract are guaranteed by Lionheart and will never be changed to the disadvantage of the land owner, unless Linden Lab raises the prices of their Land Products. This covenant in it’s actual version will be part of each contract.

Purchasing Land

By purchasing land at Lionheart, we grant you the right to own and administer your land as described in the Second Life Terms of Service Article 6 and in compliance with the regulations of this covenant.

To purchase the desired parcel of land, right click onto the ground and choose “Buy Land…” from the menu, agree to this covenant, and complete your purchase. Please note, that all sales are final. If the Land has been purchased by an individual owner, this person will be held responsible to pay the recurring tier fees in order to upkeep the land.

If the Land has been purchased by a group, the responsible Group Owners have to identify themselves as responsible person(s) to pay tier. The identification process will be initiated by clicking the parcel’s service terminal and accepting the responsibility by clicking “Add me” from the menu. Additional owners or payers can be added by the first owner using the terminal’s menu.

Only land sold by the company avatar “Lionheart Virtual Estate (lionheart.milena)” is sold by Lionheart. If the seller is a different avatar or group, it’s sold privately by another resident. In such a case, please check their tier due date on the parcel terminal before making your purchase, to ensure you are informed about what you’re getting.

Terminating your landownership contract

In order to properly terminate your contract with Lionheart, click the “Abandon Land” button in your “About Land” menu prior to expiration of your tier time account. Please note, that only you, or -in case of group owned land- anyone with the given group permissions, can abandon the land. Lionheart does not accept requests for abandoning a property via ticket or web-chat, to protect landowners from abusive requests.

Validity of Offers

Any offers including tier time with the purchase price of a property are only valid for new purchases (no matter if it’s your first purchase, or you are purchasing for additional landholdings). These offers exist to encourage residents to add new landholding contracts with Lionheart. Therefore, they do not apply when a landowner swaps properties, or makes usage of their earlier positive end balances resulting from the usage of our premature contract discontinuation service, because these transactions do not increase the number of active contracts you have with Lionheart.

Usage Fees (Tier)

Land in Second Life is subject to recurring usage fee payments (tier) in order to maintain the service. Different than to own a parcel on mainland, you are not required to possess a premium account to own land with Lionheart. Tier payments are made to Lionheart, not to Linden Lab.

If not stated differently by an actual offer, the first Tier payment is due on purchase of the land. Failure of tier payments will result in forfeiture of your land. The landowner(s) are obligated to monitor their tier due dates and keep a positive tier time balance at all times.

If your tier time account is not in default, payments can be made as often as you wish, at every moment and at any desired amount. If you are in default, at least a week’s payment has to be met. Terminals are placed at the edge of each parcel and allow you to make your tier payments, request your tier status and file support tickets.

Tier payments are not refundable. For this reason, land owners are  required to only pay that much tier in advance, as they can anticipate their commitment to their contract.

The base currency for usage fees is the US-Dollar (USD or $). Our in-world payment system allows you to make your usage fee payments using the in-world currency Linden Dollar (L$). Each Linden Dollar transaction will be based on the current Linden Dollar – US-Dollar exchange rate, which can be found at your terminal’s payment menu as well as online at https://secondlife.com/my/lindex/

Additionally, Lionheart offers a selection of alternative payment methods by using external payment service providers. The usage of these alternative payment methods usually involve external fees charged by the payment service provider which will be deducted from the paid amount before being used for any purpose in relation to your contract with Lionheart.

Every transaction with Lionheart will be automatically processed by our systems and will be broken down into detailed invoices and time account statements. Landowners can review these details at anytime by using their credentials at http://my.lionheartsl.com, which can be retrieved at any parcel terminal.

Tier Time Bonuses

Lionheart operates a very advanced bonus system to reward loyal Landowners but also to give a tier cost relief to Landowners who have contracted certain amounts of Land and Prim Capacities from Lionheart.

Any given Bonuses are a voluntary and at any time revocable service by Lionheart. Lionheart reserves the right to cease the bonus programs or to change the conditions at any time with or without reason. Any tier time bonuses will be added to a landowners time account when making a tier payment. Bonuses are given in additional tier time and may not be exchanged for money and thus, not being paid out. Bonuses are not given when the tier time account has been in arrears at the moment of payment.

For more information and conditions please visit http://www.lionheartsl.com/index.php/buy-land/bonus-programs/.

Debts

If the landowner(s) doesn’t pay tier before due and the account runs into arrears, the property in question becomes automatically subject to be repossessed by Lionheart. Any given grace periods are a voluntary and at any time revocable service by Lionheart.

For the time being in default, a late payment fine of 10% will apply. Any paid amount when being in default will primarily be used to balance these fines; the amount left after fines will be applied to tier time. Once in default, the landowner will be asked to meet at least a payment of one week’s tier.

However, if the circumstances which have caused the landowner’s account being in default are caused by a temporary emergency and it is foreseeable that the landowners solvency will be recovered within short time, a special payment agreement can be closed. To do this, the landowner needs to contact us prior to any default and open a support ticket as soon as they know about their illiquidity. A decision about a payment agreement will be made on discretion of Lionheart Staff. Any Late Payment Fines will be waived in case of a confirmed payment agreement. If the outstanding debts are not being paid within the agreed period of time, the land will be repossessed.

Repossessing of Land

Lionheart will never repossess your landholdings for no or uncommon reasons. Land may be repossessed by Lionheart in case that you fail to make your usage fee payments (tier) when due, setup your land for sale while not having a positive tier time account balance, or either repeatedly, or severely break regulations of this covenant or the Terms of Service and/or Community Standards of Second Life.

The repossession of your land automatically terminates the corresponding contract between Lionheart and the landowner, and an end balance will be created, reflecting the account status at the moment of termination. Any negative end balance will be charged whenever this resident returns to Lionheart.

An already occurred termination of a contract can be revoked under certain circumstances. If a landowner wishes to reinstate a prior contract, and the property in question is still not occupied by someone else, you may direct a request to the Lionheart Support, and if agreed, your old contract will be reinstated from the moment of termination. This includes the obligation to meet the outstanding tier for the time since the contract has been terminated.

If the land has been repossessed, your left objects will be returned to you. Lionheart does not manage the inventory servers of Second Life and is not responsible for objects failing to return to your inventory. You should contact Linden Lab Support in case that you experience any inventory loss.

Group Land

Landowners are allowed to deed their land to a group owned by themselves. Due to the nature of Second Life groups, group owners and members with granted permissions are able to take that land into their own name at anytime. Lionheart can not accept any responsibility for ownership issues caused this way. Therefore, we cannot intervene in ownership disputes in these cases.

Selling of Land

Whilst having a positive tier time balance on their contract, landowners are allowed to sell their land at anytime to any person or group and at any desired price.  Any positive or negative tier time account balances will be transferred to the new owner. In case that you are about to purchase a property from an existing resident, please verify their tier status by clicking the corresponding parcel terminal at the edge of the parcel. Lionheart is not responsible for negative tier balances on plots purchased in a private transaction between residents.

All Land NOT sold by Lionheart Milena (lionheart.milena) is sold by another resident and therefore a private transaction.

Parcel Modifications

Parcels can not be subdivided or joined by residents. Purchased parcels cannot be subdivided into smaller units.

However, if you own two plots next to each other you can ask Lionheart to join them. In every case, the approval of your request will be made at the discretion of Lionheart. By requesting to join your parcels you accept that they can not be subdivided later again.

If there is buffer land between the two plots, you will gain it free of purchase; however, your tier will be modified to incorporate the extra prims gained.

Parcel Swapping

Landowners are entitled to swap parcels within Lionheart whenever they want and how often they want.

A swap only can be successfully done, if the contract in question has a positive tier time balance, the landowner of the new property will be exactly the same as the landowner of the old property, and the new parcel is sold by Lionheart.  As the swapping procedures are handled automatically by our systems, it is important to follow two easy steps:

  1. Clean up the old parcel and abandon it by using the About Land Menu, General Tab
_Right click on terrain > About Land… > General Tab > Click “Abandon Land_” and wait a few seconds to ensure your parcel terminal has rolled up and shows “Unavailable”. This is to ensure that our system has recognized your action. If it doesn’t react as expected, don’t continue and contact support.
  2. Go to the new parcel. If your old property was owned by a group, you have to buy it directly for the same group again (To do this correctly, wear the correct group tag active, then right click the terrain > About Land… > Buy Land for Group… and proceed from here). If the old property was owned by yourself and not by a group, purchase it as usual under your name.

Conditions for Swaps

  • The buyer of the new property must be exactly the same as the owner of the previous property at the moment of abandonment. Keep in mind, that groups are handled as owners, too.
  • The new parcel must be sold by Lionheart.
  • Each swap costs a service fee of 500L$. This fee doesn’t need to be paid in cash. However, the counter-value of that fee will be subtracted from your tier time account.
  • The new parcel must be purchased within max. 24 hours since the previous parcel has been abandoned.
  • Positive and valid end balances from previous contracts will be transitioned into the new property’s tier time account.
  • If you have purchased your previous property from Lionheart, this purchase value will be refunded worth in tier time towards your new parcel’s tier time account, up to a maximum value of the new property’s purchase price . This point only applies, if you purchase your new parcel from Lionheart, and not from another resident.
  • The land owner may abandon multiple parcels if desired to merge their value’s of tier / purchases paid into a new single parcel. Above described limits apply.
  • If the land owner wants to swap multiple parcels to multiple parcels, they have to be swapped one after each other.
  • Any current offers do not apply.

Premature Contract Discontinuation

Under certain conditions (see below), Lionheart grants to it’s landowners the service to prematurely discontinue their contracts while keeping their remaining credits in readyness for a later return. The intention of this extraordinary service is to protect loyal customers from losing their investments in case of real life emergencies.

To qualify for this service, the landowner is required to have a positive tier time balance of a counter value of least L$ 3000 or the counter value in USD at the current exchange rate, and the contract in question has to be running for at least 14 days.

To take advantage of this service, just follow one simple step:

  • Clean up the parcel and abandon it by using the About Land Menu _(Right click terrain > About Land… > General Tab > Click “Abandon Land”)._

On your later return, go to the new property and purchase it as usual. If your old property was owned by a group, you have to buy it for the same group again. To do this correctly, wear the correct group tag active, then right click terrain > About Land… > Buy Land for Group… and proceed from here.

Conditions for Prematurely discontinuation of contracts

  • No refunds are given, neither for the purchased land price nor for paid tier.
  • The new parcel must be sold by Lionheart.
  • The buyer of the new parcel must be exactly the same as the owner of the previous parcel at the moment of abandonment. Keep in mind, that groups are handled as owners, too.
  • The paid purchase value and the remaining tier’s value will be kept in readiness in our systems and can be recovered if the landowner decides to purchase land later again.
  • Positive and valid end balances from previous contracts will be transitioned into the new property’s tier time account.
  • If you’ve purchased your previous property from Lionheart, this purchase value will be refunded worth in tier time towards your new parcel’s contract account, up to a maximum value of the new property’s purchase price . This point only applies, if you purchase your new property from Lionheart, and not from another resident.
  • The recovery of the kept balances costs a service fee of 750L$. This fee doesn’t need to be paid in cash. However, the counter-value of that fee will be subtracted from your tier time account.
  • The maximum time the balances will be kept in readiness is one year (counted as 365 days). After that time, any balances are forfeited.
  • Any current offers do not apply.

Group Memberships

Lionheart has established a number of groups within Second Life. Every group serves a certain purpose and will be explained in detail below.

  • LIONHEART Estate Residents
Every Resident will receive an automated group invite into this group after purchasing their first parcel. We strongly recommend you to accept the membership to be able to receive important updates and information regarding our estate and your land ownership. Group chat is welcome, but not for calling staff for support nor for advertising services/goods/events etc. This group is not to be used to manage your parcel access, grant rights etc. Please create your own group for these purposes. If you need for any reason a new invite for this group, you may request one at anytime using any property terminal.
  • LIONHEART Chamber of Commerce
Merchants association for Commercial Residents of Lionheart. Automatic group invites can be requested by using any parcel terminal, if you own a commercial or mixed usage parcel. This group is for constructive discussion, collaboration, and learning from each other. Advertising is not allowed.
  • LIONHEART Community
Open group for friends and residents of Lionheart to be used for small talk and making new friends. While advertising in general is not allowed, we do allow one-time invites for fellow neighbors to attend an event starting / happening on the Lionheart continent right in the moment of inviting. The group membership can be requested from any property terminal.

Lionheart's Guarantees

Customer satisfaction is one of the main aims of Lionheart. To circumstantiate this claim, we have developed the following guaranteed benefits for our clients:

  • Support Reliability.
We respond every website submitted support ticket within 24 hours. If we don’t do, we’ll credit you a free week of tier time to your account (in case you own more than one parcel, the free week will be applied towards your smallest parcel).
  • Our Tier prices are stable.
Lionheart never will raise the tier prices of established contracts by its own. The only exception of this rule are future price increases issued by Linden Lab onto their land products, which would force us to adjust pricings. The other way round, if Linden Lab decides in future to decrease pricings, we’ll guarantee you to forward these savings directly to our clients.
  • Estate stability.
We will never put our estate on instable financial feet, like a lot of other estates do by offering dumping prices, based on calculations with unrealistic 100% occupation of a sim, or by compensating losses with RL-Money. Our Estate is able to compensate empty parcels without exposing the whole estate on an economic risk, and grow by its own on a healthy speed, assuring a trustful long-term investment into Lionheart Land  for our clients.
  • Fair Treatment.
If for any reason, Lionheart decides to cease operations either completely, or by closing single sims, every affected landowner is entitled to either:Most Recommended Option:
Swap to another property within Lionheart. Different to normal swaps, no purchase fee has to be paid, no swap fee will be charged, and any purchase value of the previous parcel will be transferred over to the new parcel.Alternatively:
Keep using the property until the announced closing day. Any remaining tier value at this day will be held for one year to be used against a new parcel at a later time, given the landowner still uses the land until closing day and hasn’t setup the parcel for sale. Selling of land to other residents is strictly prohibited when a sim is due for closure.
